24-Hour Emergency Lifeline

Our 24-hour lifeline offers crisis assistance, safety planning, information, and referrals to service providers throughout Los Angeles County. Our bilingual English/Spanish operators understand the needs of families impacted by domestic violence and are here to give support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Features

  • Open 24/7
  • Immediate assistance in English and Spanish. Other languages are accommodated through a language line.
  • Alerts on the availability of intake services for our 45-day stay emergency shelter program, and information about supportive services.
  • Information and referrals for survivors and their concerned friends and family members.
  • Links to other resources around the greater Los Angeles County area.

SafeChat

We know that victims can’t always pick up a phone, so we have launched our website where they can text us instead.

Trained DV advocates are able to respond in English or Spanish, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. We are working towards expanding these hours.
