Since 1977, generous contributors have enabled Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter (WCCS) to provide safety, shelter and hope to thousands of women and children affected by domestic violence. Every dollar donated is used to help keep our services operating and make a difference in the lives of women and children at risk. There are several ways you can make a contribution to WCCS, whether it is directly to us or through our partners. Help support our mission and consider making a donation today!

Monetary Contributions: Check or Money Order
Direct cash gifts are the most common form of giving and can be unrestricted or designated for a specific project or program. Gifts of cash may be made outright and are tax deductible to the fill extent permitted by law. WCCS has 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Every gift from you is promptly acknowledged with a letter of appreciation/receipt, which you may use for tax purposes.

Donate Clothes
For large clothes donations (2 medium bags max), we have a thrift shop known as Shelter’s Right Hand where these are collected. See below for their location, business hours, and telephone number.

Support WCCS While Shopping at Ralphs
Now you can help WCCS all while shopping for groceries. Every time you shop at Ralphs and scan your linked Ralphs Reward Card, WCCS will receive as much as 4% of your shopping dollars. Register or re-enroll today:
- Visit www.ralphs.com and sign in or register as a new member.
- Click on “my account” > “account settings” > “edit community rewards”
- Search for Women’s & Children’s Crisis Shelter (organization #94602). Select and click “Save Changes”
Note: Ralphs requires that everyone re-enroll WCCS as your preferred organization after September 1st of each year. If you previously registered your card prior to September 1st of last year and do not re-enroll, WCCS will no longer receive a percentage of your shopping dollars.
Donate your Vehicle to CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services)
If you have an old and used vehicle that you would like to get rid of, you can support WCCS by donating your vehicle through CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services):
- Begin by heading to www.careasy.org
- Click on “Choose a Nonprofit”
- Scroll down to the yellow search bar and type in Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter
- Click on our logo and begin filling out the vehicle donation form
