A Home for Healing
About The Program
Later this year, WCCS will begin providing a new permanent housing program, known as A Home for Healing. This program is designed for individuals and families experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence move into permanent housing. WCCS will be providing financial assistance and supportive services to clients in an effort to create housing stability, including paying rent for up to two years before the client is required to take over.
Facts/statistics of re-rapid housing programs:
- Studies found that families earning income increased from 34% to 38% by program exit and up to 45% 12 months after program exit (Finkel et al. 2016)
- At least 70% of participants in the rapid re-housing programs successfully accessed permanent housing by program exit.

About The Campaign
To keep this program running and expand its reach, we need financial support from people like you! Every contribution will fund necessities for our clients when they’re in this program and living in our units. WCCS will also work with property managers who are looking to donate their space(s) and provide units to clients.

- Furniture and equipment (mattresses, bed sheets, couches, dressers, blinds, appliances, etc.)

How to Donate
Online – Please consider making an online donation today by clicking on the button below.
In-Kind – We will also accept in-kind donations of hygiene items, gift cards, furniture, and more. Items can be dropped off at our Business Center located at 7702 Washington Ave 2nd Floor, Whittier, CA 90602. We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm (closed for lunch 12pm-1pm).
