    Born and raised in Germany, Petra has been calling Whittier, CA, her home since 1991. Petra’s career in banking led her to Friendly Hills Bank, where she has been the Executive Assistant since the inception of the Bank in 2006. Petra is a past-President and active member of Soroptimist International of Whittier, a founding Board member of Studio Danza Folklorica de Colores and a certified Zumba instructor since 2007, and a passionate Board member of the Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter since 2014.

    Rob Marin is a local realtor who specializes in Seniors and is SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) certified. He is involved in various charity and community work and is the founder of the Wine & Cheese Soirée. Rob believes we were all put on this earth to care for one another, especially those in need.

    Whittier has been Diane’s home since 1974, where she and her husband raised their two sons; during that time, she worked as a certified shorthand reporter and then as an instructional aide for the Whittier City School District. Diane’s support of the Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter (WCCS) began 25 years ago when she became active in Shelter’s Right Hand, the fundraising auxiliary to WCCS. Her service continues, along with 20 years of serving as a Board Member of WCCS, supporting its mission to provide safety, shelter, and hope to families fleeing domestic violence and finding a path to healing and wholeness.

    Agata has been working as a PTA for Ability Therapy since early 2015. Agata graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology with a Pre-Physical Therapy Option from California State University East Bay in 2011. She then obtained her PTA certification from Ohlone College in Newark, California in 2014 and immediately got to work helping patients! For her entire life, Agata has loved helping people and began working to assist those in need from a young age. After moving to the Bay Area from Mielec, Poland in 2003, she started work as a caregiver at various assisted living facilities. Agata later worked as a medical technician and as an activities director before completing her studies. Agata and her husband Kody enjoy the outdoors, camping, and traveling to various countries around the world. She has always strived to provide excellent patient care with a personal connection and has really found her place as a “Rockstar” in the Ability Therapy Team.
