4) Designate a portion of your E-Bay sales to WCCS via Mission Fish
E-Bay Sellers: Donate through MissionFish
Did you know that E-Bay sellers can donate a portion of the proceeds of what they sell to WCCS? E-Bay GivingWorks has partnered with MissionFish to make this easy. Here’s how it works:
- E-Bay sellers list items on E-Bay and select to donate 10-100% of their proceeds to a nonprofit.
- The seller types in the keywords “Women’s & Children’s” (exactly as written here), then selects the State of California.
- The seller then clicks on “Women’s & Children’s Crisis Shelter” and then finishes listing their items.
- MIssionFish collects the donation and forwards it to WCCS via EFT.
- E-Bay will credit the Insertion and Final Value Fees back to the seller, equal to the percentage of the final sale price that they opted to donate.
- All sellers receive a tax receipt, as well as year-end summaries of their MissionFish donations.
Clean out your garage and help us to continue to provide valuable programs to domestic violence victims by designating a portion of your E-Bay proceeds to WCCS.
5) iGive.com
Did you know that every time you shop online you can help raise money for WCCS? IGive.com has more than 730 participating E-commerce retailers, such as: Home Depot, Staples, Gap, Lands End, Amazon.com, Ann Taylor Loft, QVC, Nordstrom, and E-Bay. Shop these stores through iGive and a portion of your purchase will be donated to WCCS.
It’s easy to participate, once you register at iGive. Just follow these simple steps:
- Go to www.iGive.com
- In their “filters” Step #1, scroll down to select the state of “California”, then scroll to select “Social –Human Services”, then type in “Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter” (make sure to spell out the “and”)and click the “Find Cause” button
- Scroll down until you see “Women’s & Children’s Crisis Shelter,” then click on this link
- Go to iGive’s Step #2 and register yourself

6)Ralph's Grocery
If you have a Ralph’s card (and if you don’t you can sign up for one) you can register to have Ralph’s give a small percentage of what you spend to WCCS. There is no cost and you will still earn the rewards associated with the card.
Here is how to sign up:
- Register online at www.ralphs.com
- Click on Sign In/Register
- If you are a new, online customer, click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
- Sign up for a Ralph’s Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your E-mail address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions
- You will then get a message to check your E-mail inbox. Click on the link within the body of that E-mail.
- Click on My Account and use your E-mail address and password to proceed to the next step.
- Click on Edit Community Contribution information and input your Ralph’s REWARDS card number.
- Do you use your phone number at the register? Call 800-660-9003 to get your REWARDS card number.
- Update or confirm your information.
- Enter NPO number 91422. Women’s & Children’s Crisis Shelter will come up. Click to confirm.
- To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
- REMEMBER, purchases will not count until after you register your card(s).
- Swipe your registered Ralph’s REWARDS card or use the phone number that is related to your registered Ralph’s REWARDS card when shopping for each purchase to count.
- ALL CURRENT RALPH’S CARDS SUPPORTERS MUST RE-REGISTER THEIR CARDS BEGINNING September 1, 2011!!!
